Welcome to Polychrome's Palace!  Please make yourself comfortable and enjoy the colorful artwork of Michele Fauss. 

I chose the name Polychrome's Palace for the website because when it came time to pick a name, I really wanted to use something that was unique and reflected my artwork somehow. 

It took awhile, but finally the name Polychrome was chosen based on the  character in the Wizard of Oz books. Polychrome 

meaning of course many colors, which, if you know my art at all, you will agree is a good name.  Color is very important to me, and most of my work is very vibrant, and somewhat chaotic at times, as you will soon see. 

I chose to use Palace at the end to make Polychrome sound more exciting, and because it also sounded like a nice place where my artwork would reside.  I kept picturing a palace in the sky as Polychrome's home, and with her being the Daughter of the Rainbow, I figured she must be pretty well off right?

So now that you know the story, welcome again to my virtual palace of color!
